SUMMARY
Licensed pharmacist with fertility medication experience responsible for reviewing, dispensing and fulfilling medication requests and surplus management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provide superior customer care and service to all patients and members
- Extensively educate patients on proper use of medications and injection technique
- Ensure patient compliance through education
- Provide information or knowledge on medications and their proper indications
- Provide training and guidance to Patient Specialists
- Maintain records such as pharmacy files and patient profiles
- Ensure patients receive medications in accordance with physicians’ prescriptions
- Comply with the regulatory guidelines of the State Board of Pharmacy, FDA, DEA, Department of Health & Human Services, Medicare, OSHA, ACHC and URAC
- Work closely with providers and staff
- Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned by manager as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- B.S. in Pharmacy or a PharmD from an accredited institution
- State Board of Pharmacy License
- 3 -5 years in Fertility Pharmacy
- Experience with Reproductive Endocrinology

- Knowledge of medications, dosing, side effects, indications, contraindications and proper administration and storage.
- Knowledge of patient history and care charts
- Knowledge of clinical procedures or operations
